10 Moms. 10 Stories.  One Night.

Saturday, May 4th
Red Carpet - 6 pm
Show Starts 7 pm

The Brown Mama Monologues is an annual showcase of 10 African-American mothers telling unique stories about the trials and triumphs of motherhood.  Our show both gives a platform to Black mothers in need of an opportunity to share their motherhood narrative, but also provides an opportunity to diversify the American motherhood narrative.

Our Venue

The Elsie H. Hillman Auditorium is a state-of-the-art performance space in the heart of Pittsburgh.  Just 10 minutes from downtown, the historic theater seats 350 people.  The venue includes balcony seating and a courtyard.
