The Carnegie Library Homewood Theater Be among the 300...

The Wiz. That’s what I remember most about the Carnegie Library Homewood Theater.  For eight months Ms. Dowe, my music teacher from 5-8th grade, would march our entire class from Holy Rosary Elementary school over to the big stage at Carnegie Library Homewood.  In that grand auditorium we put on plays from The Black Renaissance period and beyond.

I’m so delighted to call this gorgeously renovated space home for the first Annual Brown Mama Monlogues.  The 300-person, fully-equipped auditorium will serves as the backdrop and comfort zone for attendees to experience the emotional rollercoaster and celebratory vibes our speakers will bring to the stage.  We look forward to seeing you there!
